The Completion of Works in the Church Yard in Corby

We announce with great pleasure that all works (which commenced in November 2016) on the renovation of the Church (from the roof, walls, restoring existing frescoes and the commissioning of new frescoes, electricity ... etc.) have been completed. We would also like to announce that as of 11 January, the most recent and final phase - the Church yard and car park - has been completed with its asphalting and the major drainage works.

By the end of January, a new fence will be erected for the neighbours, and car parking places will be marked, which will mark the completion of all the works on the reconstruction of the Church of the Holy Prophet St Elijah in Corby.

The St Andrew parish board together with the Building Fund for the Reconstruction of the Church, led by the parish priest Proto Radmilo, wish to take this opportunity to thank all the donors, as well as the workers who participated in the construction and restoration of the Church.

With this in mind, we will be holding a ceremony to bless the four new frescoes in the Church donated by 3 families (Tovilovic, Sabadi and Stojsavljevic) - our parishioners.

Following this we will organize a (free) Thanksgiving banquet for all donors and workers who participated in the construction and renovation Church of the Holy Prophet Elijah.

Please click here to book a place so that organisers can know how many people to expect.

PEACE FROM GOD - CHRIST IS BORN!

WISHING YOU A JOYFUL NEW SERBIAN ORTHODOX 2019!
